A sense of community Using a range of social networks, including Twitter, Blogger and Facebook (where more than 1,100 'fans' have already been generated), TSP and its online specialist sister company Surf Public Relations have enabled existing and potential travellers to share their experiences while overseas with The Adventure Company.

This in turn has significantly enhanced the operator's search engine optimisation and made a major contribution towards increased booking numbers. The campaign earned us the inaugural prize for Best Use of Social Media at the annual Chartered Institute of Marketing Travel Industry Group (CIMTIG) awards.
