Positioning Taiwan as a stand-alone destination for the first time in the UK market, TSP quickly secured an additional 21 operators to feature the island.
In 2007, TSP's first full year working with Taiwan, UK visitor numbers increased by 11 per cent, dramatically reversing a two-year decline and overtaking Germany as the biggest source market from Europe. 2008 saw further year-on-year growth of 21 per cent, while Taiwan is now featured by nearly 40 tour operators.
