Taiwan Tourism BureauOften referred to as 'Ilha Formosa' (the beautiful isle), Taiwan is a modern country steeped in Chinese history and heritage. It is famous for the highest mountain in North East Asia, as well as its rugged landscapes, hot springs and tropical islands.
