SHORT CORPORATE SKI BREAKS PROVE AN INCREASING TREND DURING THE CREDIT CRUNCH

Corporate clients heeding downward economic forecasts are tightening their wallets, forcing a trend for shorter group incentives, according to ski operator Flexiski.

The operator is one of very few to offer short ski breaks in chalets – ideal for corporate groups – in the desirable resorts of St Anton and Méribel.

Natalie Batchelor, Commercial Sales Manager, Flexiski explains: “The booking trend for the 08/09 ski season has revealed companies are still keen to offer corporate ski breaks but budgets have been cut. To accommodate them, we are increasingly booking breaks of three or four nights. The fact that Flexiski is able to offer these shorter chalet trip options, along with our concierge–style itinerary building service, is proving a winning formula within the current economic climate.”

Flexiski is currently offering its signature high quality, flexible breaks at the following properties:

• For those as committed to lively après ski as they are to their enjoyment of the slopes, the centrally located Amalien Haus, in the bustling village of St. Anton, Austria can accommodate up to 31 guests

• The beautiful Chalet Leonardo for groups of up to 22 in Méribel, with its own outdoor hot tub and access to the superb variety of skiing in the world’s largest ski area – The Three Valleys in France
