HILLGATE TRAVEL LEADS INDUSTRY WITH FIRST TMC WEBCAST



Hillgate Travel, the UK’s largest independent travel management company, has announced the launch of a groundbreaking quarterly webcast, available to clients at www.hillgatetravel.com <http://www.hillgatetravel.com> .

The downloadable video can be viewed in Windows Media Player or iTunes and can be transferred to an MP3 player for viewing on the move. The first six-minute film details fare saving strategies devised by the company, offering real examples of actual savings.

Andrew Burch, Business Development Manager, Hillgate Travel commented: “We are known for our innovative use of technology and we are aware that our clients are busy people. The webcasts are an efficient and enjoyable way to convey sometimes complex information.

Five specific areas are covered in the first film, ranging from combination ticketing to the use of leisure fares, delivering savings in excess of 50 per cent. The next video to be released later this year, is entitled “Why use a TMC?” and will demonstrate how overall savings far outweigh transaction fees. Subsequent webcasts will deal with a range of subjects including safety and security while travelling.

Hillgate Travel’s webcast technology was devised by IT Director, Mark Bull, responsible for all of its unique reporting, booking and security solutions.
