YOUR CAR HIRE LATEST RECRUIT FOR TIPTO
Worldwide vehicle rental company Your Car Hire is the latest recruit to
marketing consortium TIPTO.
Confirmation of the company’s successful membership application
follows news that airport transfer company Resort Hoppa has joined TIPTO.
Membership of the organisation now stands at 19, with an additional two
companies also lined up to further swell its ranks.
Welcoming Your Car Hire, TIPTO chairman Nigel Harris (OVP Travel) pointed
out that the company filled a product sector that had been missing from
the TIPTO line-up. ‘Agents attending our roadshows want to talk
to representatives from as broad a range of product sectors as possible.
Car hire has been missing for a while, so we are delighted to fill the
gap and further help agents.’
Founder and managing director of Your Car Hire, Ruth Bligh confirmed that
TIPTO’s ability to get the company’s name in front of thousands
of independent travel agents was a key reason behind its decision to join.
‘Ninety-five per cent of our business comes from tour operators
and airlines and joining TIPTO means we can also quickly get our name
known within the retail sector.
‘Our product is very much based around a high level of service with
a personal touch, which is sometimes lost with our multi-national competitors.
We believe that independent agents and homeworkers are looking for quality
as well as competitive pricing to ensure their clients come back to them
time and time again. As we offer both of these, we are sure our product
will be of benefit to TIPTO agents and their clients,’ she added.
Your Car Hire will now participate in the remaining dates in TIPTO’s
19-date programme of UK wide roadshows, with the next event at Brighton
on May 14. It will also add a training module to the TIPTO online academy
at www.tipto.co.uk.
